Prepaid Water Meter - Installation
1. The selection of a water meter should be based on the flow rate that is frequently used in the pipeline being less than or close to the commonly used flow rate of the water meter, and the water meter cannot be determined solely based on the diameter of the pipeline.
2. The installation location should avoid strong sunlight, freezing, and pollution. During freezing periods, in addition to wrapping and insulating the water pipe of the water meter, the water inlet valve of the water meter should be closed when not in use, and the water outlet valve and faucet should be opened to prevent the water meter from freezing and damaging.
3. The water meter must be installed horizontally with the words facing upwards.
4. When installing the pipeline, it is necessary to wash away debris such as stones, sediment, and hemp threads inside the pipeline before installing the water meter to avoid causing malfunction.
5. For accurate measurement, the faucet should be higher than the water meter.
6. If a water meter is installed at the inlet pipe of the boiler, a check valve should be installed to prevent hot water from flowing back and damaging the meter.
7. The water meter should not be directly connected to the pipeline, and there should be movable interfaces between the water meter and the pipeline (such as pipe joints, connecting screws, connecting gaskets, etc.). When installing a water meter, excessive force caused by pipes and fittings should not be applied to avoid damaging the meter.
8. Water meters must be installed in areas with floor drains and unobstructed drainage
