Solutions and precautions The fundamental solution is to release the accumulated gas inside the pipeline. But specific cases need to be analyzed in detail, and the solution steps are generally as follows: 1. Observe the rotation of the watch needle to see if it is rotating at a constant speed. If it rotates at a constant speed, it is mostly due to internal leakage behind the meter or air leakage at the packing of individual valves. After elimination, it can be solved. 2. If the rotation is uneven and the water meter still runs idle after eliminating internal leakage, all water points should be deflated. Especially, pay attention to checking the plugs of the pipeline that have not been used for a long time, and see if there is a heater directly connected to the pipeline (such as soil heater, water heater, solar energy, etc.). 3. Generally, the leakage point is easier to determine. Phenomenon 2: The pointer rotates slowly forward, or the pointer first rotates forward and then reverses, but the degree of forward rotation is greater than the degree of inversion; Reason: Generally, it is caused by incomplete installation of pipes and fittings or sand holes on them, which can cause water seepage when the water pressure in the pipeline fluctuates. In this case, it is difficult to find the leakage point. Phenomenon 3: In general, the pointer does not rotate, but when nearby users (the same main pipe) use water, it rotates; Reason: Generally, due to the small diameter of the main pipe or the proximity of adjacent water meters, there is not enough space left for straight pipe sections before and after the water meters; Or there is a blind pipe behind the meter that cannot be vented.
